Aja au Grimmus

the Protean Knight

The Sovereign's right hand and a one-woman argument for not defying the Sovereign. She is the most dangerous fighter of her generation and treats that as a job.

Aja comes to the The Institute in the service of the The Olympic Knights and makes it clear that the game is the Sovereign's.

She defeats Darrow in a straight fight. Darrow's decision to let her go is what starts to fracture Roque's faith in him, and Quinn is her victim.

She mortally wounds Ragnar, taking down the greatest warrior of the Rising. She dies at the hands of Darrow, Mustang, Cassius and Sevro all at once. Nothing less would have worked.
