Sevro au Barca
GoblinAres
A filthy, undersized, foul-mouthed runt whom the rest of House Mars call Goblin. Darrow notices him scouting alone in the wolf-cloak he has made himself, and sees the best soldier in the House.
Sevro is the funniest character in the saga and also among its most frightening. He creates the The Howlers, and his loyalty has no off-switch. It also has a limit, as Darrow discovers.
His father is the Proctor Fitchner, who sent him to Darrow's side.
Sevro learns during the war that Darrow is a Red. It changes less than Darrow feared.
Darrow's decision to go on to Mercury is the point at which Sevro finally breaks with him.
Left behind on Luna as Mustang flees.
Held on Venus and escapes without anyone's help, blowing up Apollonius's dockyards to rescue the man who came to rescue him. He makes it up with Darrow and goes on as the leader the The Daughters wanted.
