The Jackal

He is Adrius au Augustus, Mustang's twin brother and Nero's son. Trapped by Darrow, he cuts off his own hand to escape and kills Pax au Telemanus. Mustang eventually captures him.

Adrius forms a secret alliance with Darrow before turning against him at the Triumph. He helps Lilath murder Lorn, admits arranging the duel that killed Claudius, and shoots Nero.

As ArchGovernor of Mars, he tortures and imprisons Darrow and commands the Boneriders. He has Narol executed. His stolen nuclear weapons are detonated on Luna by Lilath. After his defeat, he is publicly hanged, and Virginia ends his suffering by pulling his feet.

A clone of Adrius, raised by Lilath, is revealed as a central figure behind the coup on Luna. The clone is a separate person from the executed Jackal.
