Narol of Lykos
Narol is Darrow's uncle and the headTalk of his mining crew in Lykos. He is the father of Loran of Lykos and repeatedly cautions Darrow against unnecessary risks.
Narol pulls Darrow's feet at his hanging without killing him. As an informant for the The Sons of Ares, he helps arrange his nephew's escape from the mines.
Darrow discovers that Narol survived his reported mining death. Narol serves with the Sons and their Pitvipers. The Jackal captures him during a mission to sabotage communications relays and sends Darrow a recording of his execution.
