House Augustus
House Augustus is the Gold family of Nero, ArchGovernor of Mars. Its emblem is a lion.
The family's power is centered in Agea.
Virginia and Adrius, known at the Institute as Mustang and the Jackal, are Nero's children. Darrow accepts Nero's patronage after winning the Institute.
Nero's son Claudius was killed before the events of Red Rising. The family's war with the Bellonas ends in Adrius's murder of his father at the victory feast.
