Jupiter
The gas giant, with moons at the heart of the Rim Dominion. Its moon system is the seat of the Moon Lords' strength.
Jupiter itself is uninhabitable, but its moons hold billions. Far from the Core and thoroughly self-sufficient, they have long regarded Luna's authority as something of a courtesy. The distance is the real shield: an inner-system fleet that crosses the Belt arrives tired, a long way from home.
