Haemanthus
The haemanthus is a red Martian flower, also known as the blood blossom. It grows even in the tunnels of Lykos.
Eo places a haemanthus in the boot of Darrow's father when he is executed.
Darrow associates it with Eo and carries it as a reminder of her after leaving the mines.
